Neat, clean, inexpensive, close to highway, business and beach - good value price.
The Manager, Peter was particularly helpful, answering a query that we had, personally helping with our luggage and giving us local tips.
Although the room was clean and modern, it would have benefitted from having a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities in each room.
large room, good equipment, good price
rather long distance to Santa Barbara
Comfortable beds, clean, no carpet, design.
Clean and comfortable (although one of us found the bed a little hard). We really like Carpinteria and this is a great place to stay to explore the area.
We requested a quiet room but the room we were given was facing the road, over the launderette and next to the stairwell where everybody came up to go to upstairs rooms. There was a droning noise all night long which made for an uncomfortable night. However, to their credit, the guy on the front desk moved us without any hesitation for our second night and it was much better. If you get someone loud in the room next door however, the walls are a bit thin. All that said, we had stayed here before (not booking through Booked.net) and would stay here again.
The location was great, close to shopping, restaurents and the beach. The room was very modern and clean. We asked for extra pillows and they brought them right away.
The bed was very hard. That is great if that is what you prefer but my back hurt the rest of the day.
Free parking close to accommodation, Motel easy to find, several nearby restaurants, free coffee in reception area
Great surprise when we arrived very late there!!! very welcoming staff and there's a pool!! And in the morning whoa the beach is at 1 minute walking!!!
Basic hotel, nothing fancy. Personel was not very friendly. Carpinteria is a nice town with good restaurants.
Room was very basic, rooms looked steril.
I had a preconceived idea about American motels and was pleasantly surprised at how wrong I was. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. The staff, especially the Manager were very helpful and provided everything we needed. I would certainly recommend the motel to anybody who wanted to stay in that area.
The only problem we had was finding the motel. When we entered the address onto our sat nav it sent us into Santa Barbara and the actual motel was in Carpinteria. Otherwise we were very pleased with the motel.
It was close to Santa Barbara and the ratio quality/price was very fair, that was the main reason. It happened to feature a very nice pool which was a plus for us with a child of 6 years old.It was clean and modern and very convenient for us.
At night we heard the traffic a lot from our bedroom. Aside from that the beds were confortable and so was the shower.
Nice atmosphere, nice modern room.
the room was clean and reasonably comfortable and definitely the best value in the area.
the rooms should have some kind of dresser or storage unit and a small refrigerator would be nice.
Nothing, beds like cots, floors dirty, no amenities, tiny little soaps and toilet paper just the very basics. One of the very worst hotels ever stayed at.
We did not like anything about this hotel....
This hotel was o.k. for our purpose (one night stay during our journey). Santa Barbara is very close and can be reached in 10 minutes (not on a sunday afternoon in summer though). The rooms were very clean and functional. Good beds and nice bathroom and if you need 2 rooms: they have interconnecting doors.
Because the door to the bedroom is outside, it can get very noisy at night when fellow guests (who are comming home or watching tv at night) forget that it is nighttime and people might be sleeping.
